Superintendent

Below is a brief description of some of the key tasks and skills this position will entail as such, the right candidate will be comfortable wearing many hats.

Superintendent Position Tasks:

  • Runs all projects in a safe manner conforming to all safety rules and regulations.

  • Monitor and work through project in a way that meets quality standards, project budget, and project schedule.

  • Monitors all phases of project to ensure that zero rework is required.

  • Is prepared to work as a Foreman, Project Engineer or Skilled worker on projects when required.

  • Is willing and prepared to self-perform scopes of work as required for project completion.

  • Is willing to work off hours when required by project constraints.

  • Takes direction from Project Management team.

  • Ensures that the project is built in accordance with the plans and specifications that are approved by the Owner and Architect/Engineers.

  • Collaborative team player attitude. Must be able to manage pressures of project while still treating all interactions with respect and pleasant attitude toward others.

  • Punctual with a great attendance record

  • Able to adapt and use new technology

  • Maintain accountability for project

Superintendent
Laborer/ Truck Driver

Laborer/ Truck Driver

We are excited to be looking for a highly motivated Laborer / Truck Driver for join or team. This position would involve driving the company pickup truck as required as well as performing general labor tasks at construction job sites. We are looking for someone who is interested in learning and not just settling for good enough. We are a well-established company looking for a team member with long term goals.   • Clean job site as needed

  • Perform basic carpentry and other trade tasks as instructed by Superintendent.

  • Is willing and prepared to self-perform scopes of work as required for project completion.

  • Takes direction from Superintendent and Project Management team.

  • Collaborative team player attitude. Must be able to manage pressures of project while still treating all interactions with respect and pleasant attitude toward others.

Foreman

We are excited to be looking for a highly motivated experienced Foreman who is interested in moving into a Superintendent role to join our field operations team. We are a well-established General Contractor who has been serving the Seattle area since 1985. We are experiencing sustained growth and have developed the need for another Foreman to join our team. Most of our work is in the private commercial sector for a mix of both long term clients and new customers as well. We are a smaller firm with a great collaborative company culture focused on serving the customer. Being in the construction trades you will typically wear multiple hats, below is a brief description of some of the key tasks and skills this position will entail.

  • Join materials with nails, screws, staples, or adhesives.

  • Work on top of stilts, ladders, and the top beams of buildings.

  • Check work to ensure it's up to code and specifications during project.

  • Install partitions, doors, and windows.

  • Use lasers, levels, plumb bobs, framing squares, and surveying

  • equipment to ensure work is level and square.

  • Install cabinets and molding.

  • Create forms for pouring concrete.

  • Replace panes of glass, ceiling tiles, and doors.

Carpenter
Project Engineer

We are excited to be looking for a motivated mid-level Project Engineer to join our team. We are a well-established General Contractor who has been serving the Seattle area since 1985. We are experiencing sustained growth and have developed the need for another Project Engineer to join our project team. Most of our work is in the private commercial sector for a mix of both long term clients and new customers as well. We are a smaller firm with a great collaborative

company culture. Being in the construction industry you will typically wear multiple hats, below is a brief description of some of the key tasks and skills this position will entail.

Review sub-contractor bids

Through project coordination meetings and other forms of communication, oversee and coordinate the technical aspects of the project in conjunction with the Project Manager.

Review project plans and proposals, then works with Project Manager to develop project objectives.

Identifies project responsibilities by determining the phases and elements of the project.

Calculates time frames and sequences the stages of the project.

Prepare and distribute a description and timeline of the project. Continue to monitor and update project schedule for the duration of the project.

Prepare submittal packages in accordance with project specifications. Continued tracking of submittal process.

Prepare status reports and regularly monitors budgets, contractors and schedules.

Allocates project resources appropriately; approves expenditures; employee contractor contracts.

Keeps an accurate record and electronic data base of all elements of the projects.

Present procedures, rules and regulations to those involved in the project; maintains a safe, clean and productive environment through enforcing procedures.

Maintains project integrity and reputation through compliance with state and federal regulations.

Collaborate with project team on a regular basis.

Ensure Customer satisfaction from inception to completion of the project. We love repeat customers.
